Introduction:
Cotton
mealy bug has emerged as one of the most important pest of cotton and other plants of economic importance. It is mainly controlled by the application of insecticides which are highly toxic to the nonnon-target organisms. There was a debate among the scientists about the parthenogenesis in mealy bug.
Objectives:
Monitoring
of parthenogenesis in cotton mealy bug on two different hosts. of two different hosts on the biology of cotton mealy bug.

Conclusion:
There
is no parthenogenesis in Cotton mealy bug. Experimentation is needed on male capturing techniques of Cotton mealy bug for its environment friendly management.
