Objective of Project - To study Unified Communication Solution & marketing it for Large & Mid-Size enterprises. What is UC? - Integration of real-time & non real-time comm services. - a set of products that provides a consistent unified user interface. - It allows an individual to send a message on one medium and receive the same communication on another medium.

Work Done During SIP


1st week Introduction of company and its services and product range. Task assigned: - Taking the survey of customer satisfaction of existing customers of Siemens and telling them about UC solutions. - Marketing of UC solutions to new customers(company). Steps followed : - Making of questioner. - By using answers of questioner , finding companies requirement. - Suggesting them proper UC solution. - Quotation to the customer. During internship we visited around 60 companies.

Findings
Even though our target was marketing complete UC solution, but very few companies showed
interest in buying this product. This may be because of: - New concept. - Budget. - Lack of awareness In cities like Pune, Siemens prime sell is of Hipath series product, Enterasys Products and EPBX as compared to Full UC solution. My finding is that, marketing and selling strategies adopted by company is good, and it is successful because: - It is a reputed brand in the market. -The product which we were marketing is of low carbon emission. As Siemens is having good reputed brand in market, it was good experience to work with company people and to study their marketing strategies.
