OBJECTIVE
To make a 3D Animation movie using Autodesk Maya.
2D Animation
Created and edited on the computer using 2D bitmap graphics Includes automated computerized versions of traditional animation techniques 3 main types of computer animations:
Analog computer animation Flash animation PowerPoint animation
3D Animation
Creation of moving pictures in a threedimensional digital environment Sequencing consecutive images, or "frames", that simulate motion Eye can be "fooled" into perceiving motion Rate of 24 frames per second or faster
1. Unbeatable Value
provides full featured 3D modeling, animation, effects and rendering feature set matchmoving capabilities and high dynamic range compositing a 3D tool of choice for companies producing leading film, games, and television
2. Proven Solution
3. Productivity
4. Performance
optimized workflows for everyday tasks, opportunities for collaborative, parallel workflows and re-use of assets, and automation
Uses combination of multi-threading, algorithmic tuning, sophisticated memory management, and tools engineered to elegantly handle increasingly complex data sets
5. Interoperability
Supports exchange of 3D data with numerous professional applications Allows assets created outside of Maya to be reused
6. Extensibility :
offers Python scripting language, and an extensive, well-documented C++ application programming interface (API) has a software development kit (SDK) to help assist studios with pipeline integration.
Graphics are aesthetically appealing, attentionattracting, knowledge imparting, thereby, fulfilling a cognitive role. Providing an analogical visualization to facilitate mental model construction Multimedia (Animation in Maya) subject in sixth semester consolidated our interest
Study of Maya, as software and its applications and features Adobe Photoshop in order to texture the models we have created in Autodesk Maya Supports common 3D formats; the new Adjustment and Mask Panels Adobe Premiere is being used to edit the videos faster at later stages of development
