Purpose:

Main purpose of this project is to build an E-

Market where people can buy, sell or advertise products. Here, suppose one person wants to sell his car then he can go to this e market and advertise his product for sell. He need to fill some basic information about his product(car in this case). Now suppose some other customer wants to buy some used car then he can search for it from the site by providing some basic information.

Existing system and Drawbacks


Search in news papers(products for sale).
Knowing about products by Neighbors or relatives and

advertisements on roads to buy products. Giving advertisements in news papers to sell products. Limited information about products for selling/buying. We are unaware of products that selling/buying worldwide. Manually Search for selling/buying Products

Proposed System

Online registration of users for selling and buying products world-wide. Support and feedback using a query form. The customer can easily upload the products.

Software Interface:
Front End Client : HTML, DHTML, JavaScript & JSP. Web Server : WASCE (Web Sphere Application Server Community Edition) Web server. Data Base Server: IBM DB2.

Hardware Interface:

Client Side: Desirable : 1GHz processor, 256MB RAM, any OS Standard : A Web application can function across various platforms on minimum con-figurations required to run a web application which all contemporary work stations provide.

Server Side: Minimum requirements for installing IBM DB2:

All Intel & AMD processors capable of running 32-bit or 64-bit OS 512 MB RAM and an additional ram per 5 client connections 3GB of Hard Disk space

Minimum requirements for installing Web Sphere: All Intel & AMD processors capable of running 32-bit or 64-bit OS 375 MHz processor 2 GB RAM. 6 GB of Hard Disk space.

Fully working on an effective Internet Connection. Employees has to check queries and give instant

support. Registration can be accepted only after verification.

Conclusion
This Online System that is to be developed provides

facilities like buying or selling different products, advertising (house for rent) and many other facilities 24/7 services to online users.
