Ongoing Time entry in AMO - Objective Ongoing Time Entry Categories Work Instructions Steps to AMO Time Entry Resource- Effort Reports
AMO Time Entry - Objective All OS WBEI Account Team members are expected to enter their time weekly in the AMO tool.
The purpose of the time entry guidelines is to ensure that all members of the WBEI account team understand:

You can enter your time in any of seven different categories in AMO time entry:
Category
Break-Fix
COMMENTS
Time spent resolving Break-fix tickets in REMEDY/ ITSM is captured in this category. You are required to select the application for which BFX ticket was opened. Time spent on Routine Change requests / improvement initiatives is captured in this category. You are required to select the application for which the Routine Change ticket was opened. Time spent on completing Maintenance requests in OVSD is captured in this category. You are required to select the application for which the Maintenance request was opened. Time spent on Non-ticket Application support activities is captured here. You are required to select the application for which support was provided. Service Management office activities time will be captured in this bucket. Transition activities time will be captured in this bucket. In addition, you are required to select the application/ wave ?? which is being transitioned. All administrative (or Non-billable) time is captured here.

Please adhere to the following guidelines when entering your time in AMO:
All time spent resolving Break-Fix, Routine Change and Maintenance tickets should be entered in BFX, RCH and MNT buckets respectively. The application for which the BFX, RCH or MNT ticket was opened is required. Please select this from the available drop-down menu.
Note: The sub-category Overtime has been removed from this category. Overtime should be charged to BFX/RCH/MNT/APL as applicable.
WBEI and Capgemini Confidential ASP Project
All time spent in supporting an application (i.e. available time spent in activities which do not have an Remedy / ITSM ticket) should be entered here. Examples include: on-call support, application related training, reviewing work related documentation, providing application oversight etc. The application for which the support is being provided is required. Please select this from the available drop-down menu.

SMO (Service Management Office) All time spent in activities related to Service management Office should be entered in this bucket. Note: Only the members of SMO / PMO team should use this category for their time entry.
ADM (Administrative) ADM has nine sub-categories: Comp Off, Counseling, Excused Leave, Family Leave, Holiday, Illness, People Manager, Training, and Vacation. Example: time spent by people manager on reviewing PDLs should be charged to the People Manager sub-category Internal Capgemini-specific training (such as AMO Training) should be charged to Training sub-category.

Follow this link to the AMO site: http://wbamo.nar.capgemini.com/WBAMO/TimeEntry.aspx Enter your User ID (this is your email address, e.g. john.smith) Enter your Password (default password is Amousr01 without the quotations; you can change it once inside the tool). The system will NOT prompt your for change of password.
From the left hand menu, click on My Profile From the My Profile page, click on the Time Entry

Verify the time entry line that appears. If available, select the appropriate sub-categories from the drop downs Enter the number of hours worked each day. This should be the actual number of hours and breakdown by category. Note: Though you are required to enter 45 hrs/week in Time card, you should enter the actual number of hours worked in AMO Enter comments as necessary in the space provided If you need to enter time to a different sub-category, you will need to add a new line item.

Click Save to save your time entry. After clicking Save your entries will be saved but timesheet will not be closed until you click Submit Click Submit to submit your timesheet.

SDMs can view all the team members time sheet. SDM can select & reject time sheet of the team member

What If?
You will have to contact your people manager or AMO support team so that your time entry can be re-opened.
You are stuck while entering your time and need help?
Your first course of action should be to refer to this guideline for answers. If the above does not work, contact your people manager or AMO support team for help.
IMPORTANT: Random audits will be performed on individual time entry data to ensure that everyone is compliant with the AMO Time Entry guidelines.
