is perhaps one of the most difficult words to define. But just to simplify, it is a state of all type of wellbeing without body abnormalities. : Process by which people learn about their health and more specifically, how to improve their health.

The place where we live is one of the most important element that influence our health. It is because we have a lot of time to spend in that place where we live.

Cleanliness takes over a large part in our health. A clean behavior is always healthy. So it is one of the most important element of the health.

What and where we eat is also the one of the influential element of our health

Smoking is injurious to health.

Food with excess fat is not good for our health. Fresh fruits and vegetables are very important for good health.

SAFE AND HEALTHY DRINKING WATER IS ONE OF THE ESSENTIAL COMPONENT OF A HEALTHY LIVING.

Access and use of services that prevent and treat disease influences health.

Health care services in Nepal are provided by both the public and private sector and fares poorly by international standards.

Based on WHO data 2010 , disease prevalence is higher in Nepal than it is in other South Asian countries, especially in rural areas. Provision of health care services are constrained by inadequate government funding.

China is amongst the largest populated country of the world. Many people means many health problems and many health services insufficiencies. China is undertaking reform of its health care system. he New Rural Co-operative Medical Care System (NRCMCS) is a 2005 initiative to overhaul the healthcare system, particularly intended to make it more affordable for the rural poor.

Chronic diseases, non-communicable diseases account for an estimated 80% of total deaths and 70% of disability-adjusted life years lost in China. Cardiovascular diseases, chronic respiratory disease and cancer are the leading causes of both death and the burden of disease, and exposure to risk factors is high: more than 300 million men smoke cigarettes and 160 million adults are hypertensive, most of whom are not being treated.

Balanced eating, keeping active, smoking, drinking, and how we deal with lifes stresses and challenges all affect health.

The people in Nepal have their own way of living. The behavior of living and living manners are characterized by their religion, culture and tradition, ethnicity and the geographic region where they live in.

The rich cultural heritage of Nepal, has evolved over centuries. The multi-dimensional cultural heritage encompasses within itself cultural diversities of various ethnic, tribal, & social groups inhabiting different altitudes, and it manifests in various forms of their behaviours.

Nepal is a country where majority of people are Hindus. Different ethnic group among Hindus have their own festivals. Each festivals have their own values in social life. Thus, pople without caring about their health, acclaim their social beliefs.

Eg. Chhatt is an ancient Hindu Festival dedicated to the Hindu Sun God. The rituals of the festival are rigorous and are observed over a period of four days. They include holy bathing, fasting and abstaining from drinking water (Vratta), standing in water for long periods of time

Dashain
Hindus one of the biggest festival. During this festivals, there is seen many people carelessly celebrating with a lot of foods, alcohols etc. All this carelessness has shown to create many health hazards in life of people.

Chinese people are highly concerned with the healthy behaviors. Food they eat, clothes they and making sure they eat breakfast, hot water and much more.

Use of chopsticks is also example of the healthy behavior of Chinese people.

Many governmental policies like one child policy are the important aspects of improving health aspects in China.

But there are still some areas of concern for the good healthy behavior.

Inheritance plays a part in determining lifespan, healthiness and the likelihood of developing certain illnesses.

A retrospective analysis of hemoglobin electrophoresis carried out at a teaching hospital showed the presence of thalassaemia, sickle cell disease and abnormal hemoglobin in a few cases.

Haritable Diseases in China Many genetic diseases are frequently seen in china. Among them some are primary carnitine deficiency, ornithine transcarbamylase deficiency, X-linked adrenoleukodystrophy, glutaric aciduria type I, and galactosemia.

Obesity and Diabetes are some of the leading health problem in Nepal and it is widely related to genetical inheritance.

Enviroment and health are inter-related to each other. Physical environment like safe water and clean air, healthy workplaces, safe houses, communities and roads all contribute to good health.

The urban areas, specially the main cities of Nepal are amongst the top polluted cities of the world. It is only possible by the virtue of Nepalese unorganized urbanization, industrilization and the smoky vehicles.

But somehow the rural areas are safe of environment pollution and people there are healthier than in the city areas.

China is far ahead in the case of the Air pollution than Nepal. 20 most polluted cities are in China. Air-pollution levels in Chinese cities is leading to the premature deaths of 350,000-400,000 people each year.

This pollution is thought to be one of the side-effect of Chinas incredibly rapid development.

People in employment are healthier, particularly those who have more control over their working conditions. income; rich and poor living condition, nutrition, education, pressure of work and living, all these social elements in Nepal is redefining health status in Nepalese people.

Nepal's literacy is 68.2%..... There are 26277 government schools in Nepal with 6018806 students On average a school has about 230 students. On average a school has about 5 teachers, a teacher has 50 students. About 200,000 students are studying in 473 colleges in Nepal..

A survey report on Oct. 2010 said 25.16 percent of Nepalese people are living below the poverty line.

Literacy rate in china is 95.9%.

Poverty in China is often overshadowed by average annual GDP growth rates of 9% or more. According to the World Bank and UN statistics, approximately 200 million Chinese people live on less than US$1.25/day; Furthermore, 482 million people live on less than US$2/day a figure that is greater than the populations of the US, Germany and the UK combined.

With all these facts we can say that Nepal is far behind in the case of healthy living from China. Proper health education and some improvement on governmental policies can fill this lagging.
