Operating system is a set of program to operate computer system. Generally redefined as a system to operate electronic devices. Operating system basically will create a connection (logically) between hardware and software (application) to execute or to operate the systems. Operating system are developed using many computer understandable languages as (c, c++, java and Linux coding).

Mobile Operating system Satellite Operating system Desktop Operating system Tablet Operating system Robotic Operating system Mainframes machine Operating system Warehousing Operating system Airport Operating system

Generations of Operating System

First Generation of Vacuum Tube - Machine Code Second Generation of Transistor - Assembly Language Third Generation of Integrated Circuit - C Programming, COBOL & FORTRAN Fourth Generation of Microprocessor - DomainSpecific Language Fifth Generation of Artificial Intelligence - LISP, Prolog,JESS

KERNEL
A kernel connects the application software to the hardware of a computer. The central process unit kernel responsible to ensure that all the executed instruction from the cpu are allocated well by resources. CPU will release millions over instruction at the same time and kernel play to retrieve these instruction and execute.

PROCESS
Operating system concerns process are immediate program to work within and out of OS to grab and perform any task. Process did not share any resources. Process in OS are differ various parts: (a)Process concepts (b)Process scheduling (c)Operation process (d)Cooperating process (e)Interprocess communication

THREAD
Thread are responsiveness to allocate the resources to make sure process has the space and time to execute the task. Thread has two, single thread and multithread. Thread will make sure if more resources are required by one process, then multithread will make sure that availability of resources called as multithreading. Thread provide mechanism that allows sequential processes to make blocking system calls while also achieve parallelism.

WHAT IS REMOTE OPERATING SYSTEM? The term remote operating system refers to software or an Operating System feature allowing applications, either command line programs or graphical applications, to be run remotely on a server, while being displayed locally.

Types of Remote Operating System

Remote Softwares (Apple Remote Desktop 3) Remote Operating Systems (Desktop Vitualization) Remote Server Operating System TeamViewer

REMOTE OPERATING SYSTEM IS USED IN:

Army Medical Airlines Satellite Mobile Robotic Vehicle Machines

How Remote Operating System is Developed?

Remote Desktop Development using C++ The source code is written using C++ or assembly language, The problem of such approach is the source code complexity. Remote Desktop Development using Java Using Java for implementing cross-platform GUI. The problem of Java is performance of the remote desktop multimedia processing algorithms. Java is not very fast for multimedia. Remote Desktop Development using Mono Using Mono it is possible to create multimedia applications with higher performance than using Java. It can be compiled using the Microsofts compiler.

Advantage of Remote Operating System

Security - Encryption technologies to stop viruses and other malicious software Maintenance No need of updating the software. Plug and Play concept. Mobility Work from anywhere Disaster Recovery No data loss Reduced Costs Several clients sharing one application or Operating system Time Savings Reduce travelling to perform a task Remote Use of Programs - computer eliminates the need to buy multiple copies of the same software's for other clients Fix a Computer Remotely Overcome system down or crash by remotely access

MY NEW CREATION OF REMOTE OPERATING SYSTEM.

DarkMaster iDrive ROS

System Requirements: Professional or Business navigation system. Suitable Apple device, Android and others. Apple iPod touch or Apple iPad is the best. Active Connected Drive customer portal which Is installed in your car. Internet connection on mobile device.

Principle
The DarkMaster iDrive ROS allows you to establish a connection to the vehicle via the mobile phone network. For example, you can use a Mobile device to lock and unlock the car or to look up points of interest (POIs) and transmit data to the vehicle.

Configuration
Access credentials Installation and configuration requires your personal access credentials for the Connected Drive customer portal. User name Defined when the Connected Drive contract was activated. Password Sent to you as a text message following activation of the Connected Drive contract. Configuration via the car Connected Drive customer portal Configuration in the Connected Drive customer portal in the car is a three-step procedure:

1. Activate remote functions. 2. Record answers to security questions. 3. Activate security questions. The remote functions are not available until after you have successfully completed all three steps.

`
Activating remote functions To be able to use the DarkMaster iDrive ROS, you must activate the remote functions via the BMW Connected Drive customer portal Recording answers to security questions The security questions ensure that no unauthorized persons can use the remote functions for the car. You have to record answers to four security questions on the Connected Drive customer portal: After your answers to the security questions have been recorded, an activation code is sent by text message to the mobile phone number specified in the Connected Drive contract. Activating security questions In the Connected Drive customer portal, enter the activation code you received in the text message.

Configuration procedure on Mobile device The first time you open the app, the configuration sequence is started. The configuration process can only be completed if there is a connection to the internet. Accepting terms of service To be able to use Google Local Search, you have to accept the terms of service. "Accept" You can also open the terms of service afterwards from the Settings menu. Logging on The same access credentials are used for configuring the DarkMaster iDrive ROS as for the Connected Drive customer portal. 1. "User name" 2. Enter your user name for the Connected Drive customer portal. 3. "Password" 4. Enter your password for the Connected Drive customer portal. 5. "Log in"

Answering security questions Two of the security questions you selected are displayed and must be answered correctly to verify the user's ID. Defining your PIN Define a 4-digit PIN. You have to re-enter it every time you open DarkMaster iDrive ROS. 1. Enter a 4-digit PIN. 2. Enter PIN a second time to confirm. The PIN request can be deactivated on the Settings Menu. Selecting vehicle The vehicle selection list shows all vehicles registered in the Connected Drive contract. Select a vehicle: Press the text box containing the vehicle required. Vehicle selection can be deactivated on the Settings menu. If there is only one vehicle listed it is selected automatically. If the configuration process is not completed, it is automatically restarted the next time you open DarkMaster iDrive ROS.

DarkMaster iDrive ROS includes the following functions and advantages in detail:
Vehicle Position If the vehicle's ignition is off, and it is located within 0.6 miles (1km) of the mobile device, the current vehicle location can be displayed on a map in the mobile device. Google Local Search - Search for local businesses, restaurants, and more on the mobile device and send the details to the vehicle.

Remote Locking & Unlocking Customers can remotely lock or unlock their vehicles, providing peace of mind if they are unsure whether they locked the vehicle in the parking lot or if they have accidently locked keys in the vehicle.
Remote Horn - send a remote command to sound the horn of your car to help locate the vehicle. Remote Headlights remote control of configurable exterior light functions to help locate the vehicle.
