Born in Costa Rica, raised in the US, and a resident of Israel since 1984, Dr. Gotlieb's areas of expertise include international development, global change, Middle East affairs, sustainability, and text and publishing studies. He is an author of prose and poetry. He is a member of the faculty of David Yellin College of Education, Beit HaKerem, Jerusalem.
Yosef Gotlieb resides outside of Jerusalem with his family.
