Bertie started his career eight years ago as a biokineticist at Milpark hospital in Johannesburg where he completed his internship.
Bertie and his associate Daniel Donnelly then established D & H Biokineticists in 2009, this has expanded and they now have two practices in Sandton. Bertie places value on growth in his personal and professional life and for this reason he is currently a student at the University of the Witwatersrand. He is completing his Master of Science in Medicine in the field of Biokinetics. He has a special interest in Electromyography (EMG) analysis and orthopaedic rehabilitation.
Bertie has been featured on South African TV shows: Hello Doctor and the Dr. Moll show. Bertie and his practice have also been in magazines and newspapers including: Live Out Loud, Huis Genoot and the Citizen. Bertie is known for his expertise and has been called upon to speak alongside other doctors and health professionals on various aspects of health and fitness and their related topics.
Bertie's personal mission is to be a person of influence to others in his profession and personal life. Bertie has proven himself to be a person of integrity, he is confident, driven, faithful and organized in his personal and profession life.
Bertie is passionate about helping people. His heart is for charities and foundations and he is involved in numerous community projects and he is also an active member of the Rivers Foundation.
Bertie is an avid competitive sportsman. From a young age he has been participating in various competitive sporting events and activities on provincial and national level; with emphasis on golf, cycling, athletics and touch rugby. Bertie also enjoys outdoor life and in his spare time he enjoys quality time with his family and friends, reading books and watching inspirational films.
Bertie has been married to Manuela for two years and has a daughter Gabriella.view less
