In his spare time he was the Chairman of a charity representing veterans of the British Nuclear Weapons Testing Programme - The BNTVA. Nigel was made a member of the Order of the British Empire in the Queens Birthday Honours list 2016 for his work for the Nuclear Veterans. He now works directing a company that delivers communication and systems to charities which also delivers projects into the nuclear community. He lives in Castle Donington, Derbyshire, UK with his partner and their young daughters.view less
