She moved to Grand Forks in 2002 with her husband and son. She is a freelance writer who has published articles in the Grand Forks Herald in 2005 and 2006. She has participated in the annual Writers Conference at the University of North Dakota since 2005. The present collection, Accolades, is her third book.
